I think you were the only person who made a Jazz song for this contest. Even though I really am not a Jazz fan, I think you did great with re-harmonizing. The panning was a bit off though and the sounds were unbalanced. Other than that great job!

The song was good, and I could see improvement. However, I agree with Zophar about the kick, you needed to pick a more lowpass filtered one. After your build-up in the beginning, it was a bit disappointing and it needed that extra emphasis. The build-up itself needed to be more emphasized as well. Other than that it was a good song! Good luck on the competition!

The 8-bit song idea was definitely a very unique idea, especially using that melody! My favorite part of the song was 0:59, which was where the grace notes were. They were used very well!! One criticism I have for this was the ending. It needed that one final verse really to finish it off. For me it felt like a cliff-hanger, and the song just felt more like an excerpt. Another is that the main melody just kept going and really didn't have a single rest. Other than those 2 things, the song was very good! Good luck on the competition!

Absolutely fantastic song!!! One of the best I have heard yet. One thing though that kind of threw me off was the part from 1:43 - 2:30. It felt like a filler and nothing happened. And for your category of music, I personally think it sounds like a rap instrumental in a way, but it could be good be itself. Good luck on the competition!!

I liked the song as a whole with the very small details. The sound effects were really nice and helped give it a nice tone. Just one thing though, I think there needed to be some sort of bass in the song. That would of completed the song for me.
